隶属于中国保利集团公司、保利文化艺术有限公司的保利剧院，位于北京市市中心，地理位置优越。剧院自1991年正式承接对外演出以来，已成功接待了国内外近300个艺术团体，组织近3000场演出。
为加快保利剧院的发展和促进中外文化艺术交流，中国保利集团公司自1999年12月开始对剧院进行全面装修和改造，于2000年10月完成并重新开业。
修葺一新的保利剧院不但可接待大型歌剧、交响乐、芭蕾舞、音乐剧等各种艺术形式的演出，其高品位的艺术环境、高雅的各类文化活动、次的服务更得到了北京文化演出界很高的赞誉
